Apparel Industry

This industry comprises various industrial groups engaged in two distinctive manufacturing processes: cut and sew and the manufacture of garments in establishments that first knit fabric and then cut and sew the fabric. It includes more than 80 plants contributing with over 10,000 direct jobs.

You will find the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), the Agency Supplemental Regulations, the Acquisition Reform Network, and the Federal Acquisition Jumpstation (federal agency procurement sites Registrations, Federal codes & specifications).

To do business with most government agencies, you must register in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Before you register you need to get a Dun & Bradstreet number and also need to identify industry and federal supply codes pertinent to your Business. The following sites will allow you to complete the CCR registration.
